In an ongoing effort to keep the brokerage on the leading edge of insurance products and services, The McIntyre Group has established an internal Executive Committee to monitor both business operations and quality control. The current committee membership includes representatives from Management, Client Services, Risk Management, Administration and Technical Operations.

Anthony McIntyre President
Tony McIntyre founded The McIntyre Group and is responsible for the brokerage's operations, services, finances and management team. As the senior officer of the Executive Committee, Tony provides leadership and industry knowledge to the firm's policymaking body. The Executive Committee includes representatives from the key disciplines of Strategic Management, Client Services, Risk Management, Technical Operations and Administrative Services.
After graduation from Temple University, Tony was commissioned as a U.S. Army Reserve Officer. Prior to founding The McIntyre Group, Tony worked for a large, nationally ranked brokerage company located in Philadelphia for 15 years as a senior sales executive. He was appointed an officer of the company and elected to the Board of Directors. Tony also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, TX. He is married with two children and resides in Medford, NJ.
James S. Walker CIC, CRM, Vice President - Sales Manager
James Walker is responsible for overseeing all new business operations. In addition to his sales management responsibility, Jim is responsible for generating new business opportunities for the organization. Prior to joining the McIntyre Group, Jim was a successful commercial insurance producer at a large Philadelphia firm for 13 years. He then accepted an offer to join the New York City firm of Bernstein Global Wealth Management as a Financial Advisor. Jim brings a wealth of sales, marketing and technical experience to The McIntyre Group. He has a particular gift for analyzing and structuring insurance programs for complex commercial risk exposures.
Prior to his business career, Jim served seven years in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer flying the F14 Tomcat. Prior to the Navy, he earned a football scholarship to VMI (Virginia Military Institute), completed their ROTC program and was commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy. Jim graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Jim lives with his wife and three children in Wilmington, DE.
Adrian G. MilesARM, Vice President - Marketing Manager
Adrian Miles is responsible for overseeing all existing client services and maintaining an open dialogue between clients and their respective insurance carriers. In this role, Adrian serves as the main contact person for a large book of McIntyre Group clients.
Prior to The McIntyre Group, Adrian was an assistant producer at a large nationally ranked brokerage company located in Philadelphia where he worked on high profile accounts and developed a reputation as a personal, yet detailed, executive. Adrian won three varsity letters in wrestling at the University of Virginia and graduated with a degree in Foreign Affairs. He currently resides with his wife and daughters in Medford, NJ.
Michael A. GeigerMBA, CPA, Vice President - Marketing Manager
Michael A. Geiger is responsible for servicing existing clients and manages a department that assists him in handling one of the organization's largest accounts which has complex international exposures. Prior to The McIntyre Group, Mike was responsible for customer retention and development of new business at Commerce Insurance Services, the Property & Casualty Insurance division of Commerce Bank. Prior to Commerce, he was an Account Manager at a large regional brokerage firm based in Philadelphia where he was responsible for servicing large complex risks.
Mike spent his early business career in leadership roles within the financial, regulatory, public affairs and strategic planning organizations at Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon Communications). Throughout his career, Mike has been selected by his employers to lead task forces to improve operating processes and results.
Mike holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He lives with his wife and two children in Moorestown, NJ.
Luanne FunariVice President - Director of Claims Management
Luanne Funari joined The McIntyre Group as Director of Claims Management in December of 2003. Luanne brings 30 years of claims experience in both personal and commercial lines. Prior to The McIntyre Group, Luanne was a Senior Account Representative at American International Group (AIG) where she was responsible for overseeing multi-jurisdictional claims activity for middle market and national accounts. While at AIG, she also held positions as a litigation specialist, multi-lines supervisor and environmental claims manager.
Luanne's dedication to the highest level of customer service has been recognized with three Meritorious Service Awards and numerous special assignments as Project Manager for Business Process Improvement initiatives. Her teams have made significant contributions to workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction resulting in cost savings for her former employer.
Luanne is a native of New Jersey and currently resides in Mt. Laurel. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from New Hampshire College where she was a four year varsity athlete in the sports of Field Hockey and Softball. Passionate about golf, she is a single digit handicap holding the women's course record at 69 and is a 12 time winner of her Women's Club Championship.
Anthony TomassettiCPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM, VP - Technical Operations
Anthony Tomassetti is responsible for technical operations, quality control, workflow management and regulatory guidelines. Anthony's professional designations include: CIC, CPCU, CRM and ARM.
Prior to joining The McIntyre Group, Anthony was Vice President and head of the Columbia, MD office of William Gallagher Associates, a brokerage firm headquartered in Boston, MA. Before he joined William Gallagher, Anthony was with a large nationally ranked brokerage company located in Philadelphia where he worked for 17 years in the Technical Development Department. He holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State. Anthony is married, has two sons and a daughter and resides in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Nan WeinbergAssistant Vice President - Administration
Nan Weinberg is responsible for the the company's office management, human resources and benefits as well as marketing communications. She also oversees the Accounting and IT departments. Nan holds a Commercial Property and Casualty license in NJ and several other states as a non-resident.
Prior to The McIntyre Group, Nan worked as an account manager and assistant producer at a large nationally ranked brokerage company located in Philadelphia. While there, she was responsible for new business on the firm's Billing E&O Program. She is married with three children and resides in Cherry Hill, NJ. Nan holds a B.S degree from Drexel University.
